ENGIE Fabricom will be attending this year’s WiME, Women into Manufacturing and Engineering careers event, which invites girls and women from across the region, with the aim of encouraging them to choose a career in manufacturing and engineering.
The event is being held by Green Port Hull at Grimsby Town Hall on Friday 12th October 2018, and will see up to 300 students from local schools and colleges in attendance.
ENGIE Fabricom will stand alongside around 20 other companies, including: British Steel, Jacobs, Network Rail, Ørsted, Phillips 66, Total Lindsey Oil Refinery and Tricoya Ventures UK.
The WiME event will give people the chance to meet women already working in manufacturing and engineering, discover what training and qualifications are needed and learn about the different paths that can be taken to get into one of these careers.
We are very happy that Elicia Bones (Graduate Process Engineer) will be attending the event and will be on hand to share her stories and experience and give any advice to aspiring engineers.
