We are pleased to announce Sam Dearing has now stepped up into the role of HR Director at ENGIE Fabricom having been with the Company for over three years. As an active member of the Senior Management Team for a year now, Sam has been promoted from Head of Human Resources.
Our human resources function has experienced transformational change over the last few years due to the great work of our HR team and there has been a noticeable shift in positive change throughout the business as a whole. We recognise that our people are our biggest asset and, as such, it is important that we have the right person at the forefront to lead the HR team and we believe Sam is a strong leader and will do a fantastic job.
Speaking about his new role, Sam said: “It’s a real honour to become ENGIE Fabricom’s HR Director. I am passionate about the people in our business and helping to enable and develop creativity throughout the company, which we believe is fundamental to our success today and in the future.”
Impressively Sam has joined the boards of two great organisations earlier this year. These include, the Yorkshire and Humber Institute of Technology – who will bring around £10million of capital funding into the Humber region to be invested in industry-standard equipment and provide higher level technical training, and CATCH, an industry led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewable industries in Yorkshire and Humber, focused on skills development.
Such directorships help ENGIE Fabricom to be at the forefront when it comes to attracting, retaining and developing our stars of the future, as well promoting the Company as a trusted expert in the engineering and construction industry.
