Gifts and Treats

Gifts and treats to two fantastic charities for Christmas 2019.

ENGIE Fabricom and Resource Direct Recruitment (RDR) are thrilled with their teams for their amazing efforts to help those less fortunate experience the joy of Christmas.

Following our recent announcement that we are supporting CARE’s Toys for Joy and My Sisters Place charities this Christmas, we have been busy collecting toys, treats, clothes, toiletries, mobile phones and games ready to donate to these worthwhile causes.

To collect for the Toys for Joy campaign, we set up two collection points – our Engineering and Design Office in Grimsby and our Manufacturing and Construction Facility in Immingham – and we were amazed by the volume of toys donated.

Sarah Carvill and Emily Scott from ENGIE Fabricom (pictured left) delivered the donations to the Toys for Joy campaign and were delighted to hear that their gifts would put smiles on so many faces this Christmas.

Sarah Carvill, Communications Lead commented:  “As a Company we are committed to helping and supporting our local communities and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank everyone who generously contributed to this amazing charity by donating gifts and treats.  We hope to have made lots of children smile this Christmas.”

For My Sisters Place charity, our North East office helped raise a huge selection of gifts, including shopping vouchers, 4 new mobile phones loaded with £10 credit, free minutes and text messages, toiletries, food boxes as well as a large donation of gifts for both ladies and children.

Louise Murrell, Emma Williams and Yaw Ankomah from RDR delivered the gifts to My Sisters Place (pictured right).

Paul Stainthorpe, Director of RDR commented ; “There has been a magnificent effort by RDR and ENGIE Fabricom over the past months to collect donations of all kinds to ensure the people relying on this great charity have an enjoyable Christmas.  Particular thanks to Louise Murrell, Emma Williams, Jo Harrison and Bethan Whitehead from RDR and the ENGIE sites and offices in the North East that provided gifts and money.  Thank you all and a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year”
