On the 14th September, three cheques totalling a combined £7800 where presented on behalf of ENGIE Fabricom to three charities: St. Andrew’s Hospice, Alzheimer’s Society, and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
The money was raised on the Health and Wellbeing Charity Family Fun Day on the 6th June 2015. Hosting this event allowed us to work towards achieving our Healthy Workplace Gold Award by fulfilling our commitment to Health and Wellbeing of our employees and their families but also our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) ethic.
Working in collaboration with Cofely, North East Lincolnshire Council, Grimsby Institute for Higher Education (GIFHE), Humber Chemical Focus CATCH a number of fund raising activities where organised including:
- It’s a knockout
- 7-a-side football tournament
- Over 40’s fitness triathlon challenge
- Numerous smaller activities for children
We would like to congratulate and thank everybody involved in organising and participating in the day for raising an incredible sum of money for three brilliant charities. Let us hope we can continue this marvellous achievement into 2016.
