ENGIE Fabricom UK spent yesterday working alongside British Steel engaging with local communities by providing transport and a driver (Steven Rich from ENGIE Fabricom, pictured above) to help deliver hundreds of kilos of food to foodbanks in Scunthorpe.
Joe Hodgson, Regional Site Services Manager from ENGIE Fabricom commented: “This was a fantastic opportunity for ENGIE Fabricom, not only are we helping support families in the local community we are also building stronger relationships with our client, British Steel.
“It was great to be involved and to be able to give our time to allow local families to enjoy this time of year. British Steel collected a total 768.7kg of food, which will feed approximately 50 families. At this time of year this effort goes a long way for the area.”
