As part of career and personal development at ENGIE Fabricom, we are delighted to have recently appointed Joe Hodgson, former regional site manager into a new role as a Business Development Manager.
In his new position, Joe will be responsible for developing strong and collaborative relationships with our existing customers as well as establishing relationships with new customers and gaining an understanding of their business and challenges.
Having already been with the business for nearly 12 years, serving his apprenticeship as a pipefitter and working through to a regional site manager, his continued drive now wants to take on this new challenge of developing the business. In his time here, Joe has built both strong internal and external relationships coupled with an in-depth understanding of our processes which will be invaluable in helping him see projects through from cradle to grave.
As we are currently focused on growth as we work towards 2022, we believe Joe’s operational experience coupled with his enthusiasm will be great in representing the ENGIE Fabricom team through consultancy to construction.
Speaking about his new step within the business, Joe said: “I very much saw this new role as a challenge and something to get my teeth into, I have taken a lot of learnings through my career so far and plan to use this knowledge where possible in my new role. On joining the business development team, I aim to support the wider business strategy to align with our target sectors and help the heads of the department fulfil their project requirements. I’m very much looking forward to taking this step and continuing to work with all colleagues in my new capacity.”
Paul Carvill, Chief Operating Officer said: “Joe’s appetite for taking on this role fits very well with our overall strategy of making our business more customer focused. Joe will be able to ensure that the right people are in front of our customers offering the right solution to help them improve their business. I look forward to seeing Joe making a success of the role and look forward to supporting him when needed.”
Please join us in welcoming Joe to his new role, we are delighted to have him onboard and would like to wish him the very best of luck as he takes this new step to better his career.
