ENGIE Fabricom and RDR are supporting CARE’s Toys for Joy and Middlesbrough Food Bank

By November 30, 2020No Comments

ENGIE Fabricom UK is proud to support two fantastic charities this Christmas – Middlesbrough Food Bank and The Christian Action Resource Enterprise (CARE) Toys for Joy Christmas Campaign 2020.

The Food Bank network supports communities and churches to open food banks across the UK.  Middlesbrough Food Bank is part of The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local communities, as well as across the UK.  The Food Bank Network was founded in 2004 after four years of developing the original foodbank based in Salisbury.  Since then The Trussell Trust has helped communities work together to launch food banks nationwide in a wide range of towns and cities.

CARE is a charity located in North East Lincolnshire, dedicated to relieving poverty, hardship and distress to those in need in the local community.  CARE is passionate about bringing dignity and compassion into the lives of those who for some reason find themselves at a point of need.  These will primarily be the marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged, particularly economically and socially who live in North East Lincolnshire.  Their founding member began his mission in 1992.  He had a desire to help local disadvantaged people, which he started to do by recycling furniture to donate out to people in need.
