We are extremely proud to announce that Elicia Bones has been successfully shortlisted for this year’s IChemE Hull and Humber Young Engineer of the Year Award 2019. The popular flagship event takes place on the 21st November at DoubleTree by Hilton, Hull where the winners will be announced.
The Young Chemical Engineer of the year award recognises the outstanding achievements of any chemical or process engineer under the age of 35 and who lives or works in the Hull and Humber region.
Elicia was nominated by Simon Lewis, Consultancy Manager and Muhammad Musa, Senior Process Engineer.
Simon Lewis said “Elicia joined ENGIE Fabricom’s graduate programme in 2017 on graduation from Sheffield University. Very quickly she established herself not just as someone with a great technical aptitude, but with the interpersonal skills necessary to be successful in a business environment.
“Her initial assignments were based on acquiring experience in a number of process engineering technical areas against a defined skills matrix.
“In the subsequent 2 years, Elicia’s progress has been rapid; one of the standout elements being her real understanding of delivering engineering in a business environment. She has been able to work directly with our clients to develop and agree scopes of work, turn these into formal proposals, understand contract and cost elements, and subsequently manage the delivery of projects to cost, quality and schedule requirements, and most importantly meeting the needs of the customer.
“I would like to wish Elicia good luck and congratulate her on all of her efforts and hard work.”
On behalf of ENGIE Fabricom we would like to also wish Elicia the very best of luck.
