We are thrilled to have helped in the design of a chassis for the Brunel Racing Team on behalf of one of our welders David Muroch’s son, Adam.
Adam is currently in his final year at Brunel University studying for his BEng Mechanical Engineering Degree and was helping the Brunel Racing Design Team as part of his final project.
After being let down by a previous company, David approached ENGIE Fabricom to assist with the build, of which we proudly accepted.
Our Regional Site Services Manager, Lee Tyas said: ‘This was an ideal opportunity for us to utilise our apprentices along with qualified and competent tradesmen to assist, once all the necessary legal disclaimers were in place.”
After being carefully briefed by Brunel University to ensure we understood all requirements, we began work on the chassis ready for collection at the beginning of January.
Stephen Riley from the Brunel Racing Team came to collect the chassis and commented that it was the best welding he has ever seen and passed on his sincere thanks to the team for their hard work. He also confirmed that it had put them four weeks ahead of schedule.
Well done team!
