Apprentices Flying High at The Apprentice of the Year Award

Winners at the ENGIE Fabricom Apprentice Engineering Technician and Recognition Awards 2014 were celebrated on the 27th November 2014 and held at the Grimsby Town Hall. The event was joined by the The Worshipful Mayor and Mayoress of the Borough of North East Lincolnshire and Squadron Leaders David Montenegro and Harry Raja from the internationally renowned Red Arrows.

Apprentices Flying High

Coinciding with our 40th anniversary meant that the event needed to be extra special and the leading title for the event was “The Sky’s the Limit”.

The dignitaries, special guests, clients, trainers and employees watched as Chelsea Griffin, a welder based at the Immingham manufacturing centre, received the trophy for Apprentice Engineering Technician of the Year for 2014; the first female to win this prestigious award since its inception in 2006.
