By | charity, Corporate News, News | No Comments

ENGIE Fabricom raised a fantastic £272 across the business last Friday by dressing down.  All monies raised will go to supporting their two charities for 2019: Magic Moments and Great North Air Ambulance.

Thank you to everyone who dressed down and donated to such worthwhile charities.

Magic Moments helps autistic children and their families have short breaks, holidays and day trips to ensure they are able to have a taste of normal childhood.

Great North Air Ambulance fly three air ambulance helicopters across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria to bring pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene.

A simple, well organised, strong structure

At the end of 2018, ENGIE Fabricom UK rolled out an initiative to simplify and bring together the UK business as one team, by providing a clearly defined and simplified structure.

ENGIE Fabricom’s vision is to become a more customer focused organisation with their greatest asset; their people at the heart of everything they do.

The one team approach will ensure that the focus is on delivering successful projects with a culture that learns, develops, attracts and retains great talent.

Richard Webster, CEO for ENGIE Fabricom UK comments:  “After a successful 2018 and a healthy order book for 2019, we have set some ambitious targets that can be reached by working together.  At the heart of our new initiative is a simplified structure focused on becoming one team by listening to our customers, understanding what their goals are, what challenges they face and how we can support them.  Here at ENGIE Fabricom we combine the talents of our people with our experience of engineering and construction to provide innovative solutions across a variety of markets including the power, utilities, chemical and renewable sectors.

Our core values of professionalism, integrity, trust and team spirit are the heart of our business, ensuring the whole team aim to be their customers’ partner of choice.”

As a result of the restructure ENGIE Fabricom has also announced some key role changes within the Company.  Paul Carvill will take the position of Chief Operating Officer and continue to focus on the overall business strategy, operational excellence and customer experience.  Craig Welford as Managing Director will now oversee all operational activities across the whole of the UK.

The ‘One Team’ approach further strengthens our Company strategy of delivering end to end solutions to our customers and creating a sustainable business for the future.

ENGIE Fabricom has been working with Lindsey Lodge over the last week to help transport Christmas trees for recycling.  Approximately 393 trees were collected from the local area and all proceeds raised will go to support Lindsey Lodge.

Lindsey Lodge provide first-class specialist care to those in North Lincolnshire with any progressive life-limiting illness.  Set in idyllic grounds on the edge of Scunthorpe, they provide all-round care.

Joe Hodgson, Regional Site Services Manager commented: “Lindsey Lodge was the charity of our choice in 2018 and it’s great to be able to assist them with this project.  The work they do to help people is incredible and gives them opportunities they may not have had.  It is great for us as a Company to help support our local community.”
