2019 Fundraising – Well Done Team ENGIE Fabricom

After another hugely successful year of fundraising, ENGIE Fabricom was thrilled to present two cheques of £800 each to our chosen charities, Magic Moments for Autistic Children and the Great North Air Ambulance from various charitable activities that happened over the course of 2019.

Magic Moments – who are celebrating their 18th anniversary this February – help autistic children and their families by taking them on short breaks and day trips to ensure that the children are able to have a taste of normal childhood. The money our team raised will help towards providing new equipment in their sensory room, games room and play area.

Great North Air Ambulance operate three air ambulance helicopters across the North-East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria to bring pioneering pre-hospital care to the scene. By donating to Great North Air Ambulance, we are helping them to save lives and ease suffering across the region.

To support these remarkable charities, ENGIE Fabricom team participated in a variety of fundraising activities throughout the course of the year including bake sales and dress down days, as well as raising money through our Positive Contribution Commendation awards. This scheme was set to reward any employees for their contribution to the effective performance of ENGIE Fabricom, and as such, their invaluable contribution in helping our clients to work with us as their partner of choice.

Employees can be nominated for any positive contribution to all aspects of the business, operationally, commercially or from a health and safety perspective by their managers, senior supervisors or customers.

During 2019, the team also raised money for several other worthy causes including Macmillan Cancer Support, CARE and My Sisters Place.

The process is a great way for us to show our appreciation and support whilst also giving back to our local communities. We are very much looking forward to continuing our support for worthy causes throughout 2020.
