ENGIE Fabricom has recently been awarded a significant project win for the provision of professional process safety services for a major chemical manufacturer in the region.
The project is to manage and deliver a programme of work to evaluate existing safety instrumented functions (SIFs) on the site, and will run for an initial period of 12 months. The scope of work includes development and evaluation of hazardous scenarios, chairing and leading Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) studies, and assessment of the integrity of instrumented safety functions, all as part of an overall functional safety management plan.
The project win demonstrates ENGIE Fabricom’s capabilities and experience in process and functional safety and our ability to develop a solution to meet our clients’ needs. The project will be delivered primarily by Emil Olutosin, Process Safety Engineer with Alan Shelbourne supporting as Project Manager.
Simon Lewis, ENGIE Fabricom’s Consultancy Manager commented: “This is a very exciting opportunity for us with a relatively new client. It reflects the degree of capability which we now have in this area and is a great step forward in the ongoing development of our consultancy business.”
