ENGIE Fabricom has been awarded a Front End Engineering Design contract by a specialist chemicals company to expand their AMD production plant in the Netherlands. This follows on from an AMD project at their Bradford site; with our knowledge and the continued relationship between both companies being a significant reason in receiving the contract.
The project scope includes the design and installation of plant and equipment to facilitate the manufacture of their products by a new synthesis route.
This FEED contract started in March 2016 and is due to be completed later in the Summer. The ENGIE Fabricom project team has already successfully delivered the P&IDs which is the first project milestone. Andrew Harris, our Engineering Manager at the new office in Stokesley commented; “This is a good start to the project which should enable ENGIE Fabricom to deliver the FEED package on time, and ensure the client can maintain its overall project schedule, through EPC and Commissioning.”
The project is currently being fully executed from Stokesley, including all engineering disciplines; Process and Process Safety, EC&I, Mechanical & Piping, Civil & Structural. In addition to this FEED project, our consultancy, engineering, and design team at Prospect House have been undertaking HAZOP studies and process piping design work for local clients within Teesside.
The project team for the current FEED contract includes; Andrew Harris (Engineering Manager), Rhys Begley (CAD Design), Pascal Pehma (Senior Process Engineer), Joe Ellerton (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Manager) and Dean Revill (EC&I Engineer).
