Wind Farm: Lynn and Inner Dowsing (2012 – 2017)

Over 5 years of successful project work on 54 foundations, including:

  • Phase 1 grout mitigation between the MP and TP connection, including new jacking frames, bearings, welding, NDT, painting
  • J-Tube inspection and installation of ventilation system and supply of all fabricated components
  • Installation of internal anodes and engineering checks including inspection of all the bearings installed
  • Scheduled maintenance of the mechanical and LV electrical components of the WTG’s and WTG foundation in accordance with the OEM service manual. Annual service contracts of the foundations with 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 year additional requirements
  • Working in partnership with the client on gear box replacements utilising a offshore heavy lift vessel
  • Safety modifications at various levels within the wind turbines
  • Cathodic protection and inspection of both internal and external anodes with a final detailed reporting
  • Paint inspection and painting to NORSOK M501 on both external platform and ladders and internal structural sections
  • Installation of Latchway fall arrest safety systems on the external ladders
  • Providing confined space rescue teams to enable safe access which involved all equipment and procedures on a wide range of projects

Wind Farm: Lincs (2013 – 2017)

Successfully completed a wide range of projects within the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm, including:

  • Completing 2 and 4 year foundation inspections including all external platforms, internal structural components, lights, safety equipment and confined space
  • Paint inspection and painting to NORSOK M501 on both the foundations and the offshore sub-station
  • Annual foundation inspection including all external platforms, internal structural components, lights, safety equipment and confined space
  • Final detailed reports for all individual foundations

Wind Farm: Humber Gateway (2016)

Project works on the offshore substation, including:

  • Cable installations, including rope access and mechanical maintenance works

Wind Farm: London Array (2016)

Maintenance campaigns of painting and paint inspection on 2 offshore substations including:

  • A full mobilisation at London Array and a painting campaign offshore with CDM responsibilities
  • Painting and Inspection to NORSOK M501 standards including final sign off documentation

Wind Farm: Burbo Bank (2016 & 2017)

Electrical installation, commissioning and final punch out of the new offshore substation including:

  • A maintenance contract, involving the co-ordination of in-house technicians and sub-contractors to ensure all certification was maintained to enable access to the platform. This also included all safety equipment, generators, telescopic crane, HVAC, lightning system, life saving equipment, navigation aids, passive fire protection, lighting protection and weather station

Met Mast: Greater Gabbard (2015 & 2016)

Inspection of the Greater Gabbard met mast including:

  • NDT rope access inspection within the offshore met mast

Wind Farm: Greater Gabbard (2017)

  • Phase 1 grout mitigation on 20 foundations between the MP and TP connection, including new jacking frames, bearings, welding and NDT
  • Painting to NORSOK M501 standards
  • Mobilisation to Lowestoft, onshore establishment and compound
  • Charter of 5 wind farm vessels and re-fuelling requirements
  • Complete resource recruitment and training campaign
  • Project managed by ENGIE Fabricom’s in-house management team

Met Mast: Shell Flats (2013)

Inspection and repair of the Shell Flats met mast including:

  • Bolt torque of all connections, NDT inspections of joints and ladders, replacement of ladder section and fabricate damper system and install offshore
