Pre-Commissioning Tests

ENGIE Fabricom Pre-Commissioning Tests

Pre-commissioning tests of a plant commences once the construction phase is near completion.  Testing of plant equipment is carried out as close as possible to operational handover with any adjustments or modifications being made before final commissioning starts.

The following pre-commissioning tests can be carried out by our professional, skilled engineers during these test stages:

  • Mechanical
    • Pressure tests
    • Integrity checks
    • Rotating equipment checks and run-up
  • Electrical, Control and Instrumentation
    • Loop tuning
    • Establish set points
    • Verify trip points
    • Plant functional testing
    • Preparation for plant handover
    • Development of commissioning test specifications

Once the pre-commissioning stage is complete, we can continue to provide professional engineering support during the final stages of commissioning.
